Mark Ruffalo In Brothers Bloom
Mark Ruffalo was born in 1967 and he is an American actor and director but also known as a producer and screenwriter. He was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin as the son of a hairdresser and a construction painter. His family’s background can be traced as to include French and Italian descendants. Ruffalo grew up together with his two sisters and another brother and he had always described his childhood as a happy one and he saw himself a happy kid who grew up in a loving Italian family. He was raised Roman Catholic and went to a catholic school. He had to move around the United States with his dad who had to relocate because of his work. When he settled in Los Angeles, he went to the Stella Adler Conservatory where he co-founded the Orpheus Theatre Company.
His career as an actor started obviously with minor roles. He played in movies such as The Dentist, the crime comedy Safe Men, Ride with the Devil and others similar. The career of Mark Ruffalo changed when he met Kenneth Lonergan as the two started collaborating. This brought Mark Ruffalo a role in This Is Our Youth and You Can Count on Me. It was for his role in this movie that he had received best reviews and won awards at the Montreal World Film Festival as well as the Los Angeles Film Critics Association. The movies for which he is best known are however the Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Zodiac, Shutter Island, The Kids Are All Right and Just Like Heaven.
Mark Ruffalo also starred in The Brothers Bloom comedy drama. He played the role of Stephen, the older brother. It is said that it was the similarity between the character of Ruffalo and that of Stephen that Mark was eventually chosen to play this role.
